Laughter Yoga

Besides being lots of fun, laughter has great health benefits both mental and physical. It stimulates a cardiovascular workout producing endorphins, which counteract the production of stress hormones. It appears to optimize the immune system. It reduces self-consciousness and boosts self-confidence. It relaxes muscles and helps fight chronic pain associated with muscle tensions. A laughter session includes deep breathing, stretching, and laughter exercises and relaxation. Hasya yoga does not involve a traditional humor or comedy. We laugh for no reason, just for pleasure, to have fun and feel invigorated.

Sri Chinmoy advises us of many way including "Exercise is one of the best ways to change your mood and fight off mild depression".
